About The Website

As soon as I took home my very own Green Spotted Puffer I started doing as much research as I could about them. After a few hours of searching the internet for more information on them I came across ThePufferForum.com the only website I knew I could trust, with friendly members, and wonderful information I spent many days lurking the website. It seemed that many of the members had joined after buying a Green Spotted Puffer and discovering the vast amount of care they require. The internet is full of contradicting articles and profiles claiming to know how to care for these fish, but most of them left out vital information, or were completely incorrect. In my frustration, I began joining other fish forums, giving out what information I had on these puffers, hoping that somehow by my efforts at least a few puffers would get the proper care they needed.
The idea of a Green Spotted Puffer website had been in motion for some time, but the work ahead seemed daunting. I kept researching GSPs as much as I could. At the time I was also working a full time job and trying to fit in some personal time, but on 03/03/08 GreenSpottedPuffer.net was officially opened. We started out as a simple website, with only two articles, but as the number of people visiting the website grew my enthusiasm also grew, soon I had purchased our domain name and written many more articles. I began answering e-mails and messages through Yahoo! Instant Messanger (YIM messages are no longer accepted). After moving to several different hosts, we finally settled on Freewebs.com (now Webs.com).
